-Ha Long Chopped squid:





This food is well known because of the way they make it. The way to cook is very simple but the taste is incredible.



Firstly, they will choose the best alive squids, clean them, then chop by hands and mixed with some special ingredients and shape them into small balls and then fry in oil. This food is rank as one of the best 50 foods of Vietnam.





-Snout otter Clam:





Snout Otter Clam is a famous specialty of the island district Van Don, also called elephant-trunk-like shellfish. It is less common and fewer than clams, shrimps or scallops, but surely visitors cannot forget the unique taste of this seafood if enjoying it once.





Snout otter clam can be steamed, grilled, made as salad, porridge or soup – all are very delicious. Coming to Ha Long, there is no reason for you to not enjoy the special seafoods granted in favor of nature.

Vegetarian foods are very popular in Yen Tu pagoda. Tourist can eat it at Tung Lam restaurant.

Ba Kich Wine


"Ngan" alcohol


Ngan is a kind of marine animal. They often scald this animal to boiled water. After that, they peel the seashell, dip it into alcohol. Then, they can drink immediately or leave it after a long time. The more it is dipped, the more it is delicious. Ngan alcohol is pinkish. This color makes Ngan alcohol special.
